This was produced for the “Interactive Design 1” module at uni. The brief was to create a moving type piece based on a Beatles lyric, we couldn’t use a computer to animate, only to clean up and composite the footage afterwards.
There is a beautiful fragility to fire at a small scale, using a flame to light my type forms uses this idea to bring out the idea of the fragility of a whisper - gentle and quiet, perhaps hard to grasp and hear. Wisdom also holds a certain fragility, it perhaps isn’t a definite, existing within the grey areas of life.
